I am Vanessa Lai, a Hong Kong born, Toronto-based illustrator and designer. I recently graduated in graphic design program in OCAD University. I am a hardworking and self-motivated individual with a keen eye for creativity.
By embracing the principles of design simplicity and cleanliness, and aiming to communicate authentically and powerfully, I believe in the versatility of design in conveying messages. I specialise in seamlessly integrating my illustrations with various design elements to enhance communication effectiveness. Additionally, I continuously challenge myself to approach the design process from innovative perspectives.
I have a massive passion for illustration, printing and design publication. Experienced in designing, illustrating, and animating, I am always full of curiosity, looking for new opportunities to learn and grow, and excited to seize any opportunity in the future.
