How can I create motion design for animated projections that enhance the dynamic performances of four hip-hop music acts at the Wavelength Music Festival?
Solution
Drawing inspiration from the circular shape of CDs and DJ disks, I crafted visuals that mimic their sleek curves and incorporate flashy text. My intention in colour is to captivate the audience and match the performance atmosphere, whether it's R&B, rap, or hip hop music. Choosing a bold typeface can further enhance the visibility of the artist's name.
The visuals were used during Wavelength Winter Festival 2024 Night 2 on March 1st, 2024.
