Challenge
How can I create a card game that allows people to have in-depth conversation about 'pretty privilege'?
Purpose
Pretty privilege, which is often overlooked in conversations, this game provides an opportunity for people to gain a deeper understanding of 'pretty privilege.' By encouraging ongoing reflections and dialogues through words, individuals can observe and work to overcome their entrenched perceptions of beauty standards.
Solution
'Authentic you’ is a psychological card game that discusses the ‘attractive advantage’ of pretty privilege. Through discussion and playing cards, players begin to discuss different perspectives of the concept and discover their true-self.

My concept was inspired by the “We’re Not Really Strangers’ card game. Targeting the general public as my audience, I wish to help them to better understand how ”pretty privilege” impacts our perceptions of what we see and how we relate to the image of the person rather than the temperament/ disposition of the person. Learning to overcome their root perceptions in pretty privilege, and understanding you can be successful and happy when you are being your true-self.

Instruction
There are three sets of levels: basic, intermediate, and advanced. The basic level includes general questions about 'pretty privilege.' The intermediate level presents statements about 'pretty privilege' for agreement or disagreement. Lastly, the advanced level consists of psychologically probing questions aimed at uncovering how 'pretty privilege' has impacted us from various perspectives.

By overcoming their root perceptions in pretty privilege, players need to learn to observe or notice how their unhealthy pattern of thoughts about pretty privilege pop up, to find the reason you would think in certain ways, and to accept your fixed thought cycle and express self-compassion, It's crucial to be kind to ourselves as we try to make a shift to a more supportive and expansive idea of beauty for ourselves. By accepting who you are, you are able to create something brilliant that you can't imagine.

Because, you are more than that.
